But there was no structure to take care of injured, orphaned or confiscated animals&#8230; <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2014, the French association ATO created the country&#8217;s first Primate Conservation Centre. The primary objective is to take in monkeys kept illegally and in unsatisfactory living conditions.
