The Cattle of Kings

This breed of cattle is adapted to the harsh conditions of the African plains: scarce and poor quality feed, limited water and extreme temperatures. Their long horns are characteristic: up to 2.4 meters long and 20 centimeters in diameter!
Traditionally, watusis were considered by the Maasai people as a symbol of wealth. While their milk, processed into yoghurt, is frequently used, their meat is rarely eaten.

They live in our brand new African plain (more than 7000 m2!), in the company of Somali donkeys and gazelle oryx. You will be impressed by the color of their coat, and the size of their horns!
