A committed park: a new pact with nature
Modern zoological parks have a fundamental role: to contribute to a new pact between Man and nature.
Preserving endangered species, raising public awareness, supporting research, participating in international breeding and reintroduction programs…
The La Barben Animal Park fully embodies this mission through its concrete and sustainable actions.
Ecofauna: acting for conservation

The Ecofaune association, financed mainly by the Park and by private donations, supports in situ and ex situ conservation programs in France and around the world.
It acts with ethics and transparency, and its commitments are recognized by several trophies and distinctions. Every visit to the park counts.
Thanks to the contribution of visitors, a virtuous circle is formed:
Observe → understand → protect.
