These meetings allow us to learn more about several fascinating species: the diet, lifestyle and behaviour of our residents, the threats they encounter in nature, the new role of animal parks… Meetings to better observe, exchange and get to know each other, for young and old alike, with family or in groups.
Privileged moments to observe the animals at feeding time!

A unique moment to witness the free flight of different birds, in the middle of the scrubland: eagles, falcons, vultures, storks… The opportunity to discover everything about these species!

These 3 booklets per level have been created to accompany children before and after their visit to the park.
Equipped with your game envelope, set off on the trail of a rhino horn thief, or try to find a secret message. For children from 7 to 14 years old, games sold for €1 at the park’s reception, for the benefit of animal protection programs in their natural environment.

Free game to discover the Crau locust, which benefits from a conservation program in which the La Barben animal park is involved!
From the age of 8, the questionnaire can be collected at the park’s reception.


Would you like to live a unique experience as close as possible to the animals? Take part in our passion-caretaker mornings, special meetings, children’s birthdays or private tours of the park, and let our educational department accompany you in the organisation of an unforgettable moment.
Yes, picnic areas as well as water fountains are available throughout the park.
