The biodiversity of Laos – association Anoulak

Association Anoulak

In Laos, biodiversity is very rich, but very little known, let alone protected… The French association Anoulak was created in 2014 to protect these species, more particularly in the Nakai-Nam Theun Protected Area (Annamite Mountains). It carries out various activities:
– Biodiversity research and management
– anti-poaching patrols
– Raising awareness among communities to understand the importance of preserving nature
– Building sustainable livelihoods for communities
– training of Laotians so that they can put in place the necessary protection measures
