These tiny primates (barely 350 grams) are easily recognizable by the tufts of white hair on the ears, called brushes. Like all marmosets, they feed on insects, fruits, nectar, but also and above all gum (plant secretions). To harvest it, they pierce the bark of trees, thanks to their elongated lower incisors.
They are native to Brazil, where they live in the savannahs, forests, and even parks of Rio de Janeiro!

You will be surprised by the liveliness and shrill cries of our group of marmosets!
