Birth of a giraffe!

The whole team is very happy to announce the birth of a giraffe, on June 8th!
This pretty little female, born after a gestation period of 14 months, is the fourth calf of Zourafa, an excellent 13-year-old mother.
After spending the first few weeks in the quiet of her building, she is now starting to explore the outside, under the watchful eye of her mother.
She is still young, which is why for the moment she only goes out for a few hours in the morning, during the coolest hours: it is tiring to discover and explore the world!
