Native to the Sahara Mountains, bighorn sheep are adapted to life in dry climates, and they are particularly agile on rocky and steep terrain. With their double mane, extending on the one hand over the neck and shoulders, and on the other hand over the throat and forelegs, they seem to have a beard! The horns of males can reach 80 cm in length, but they do not exceed 40 cm in females.
In La Barben, it is a large group of bighorn sheep, where there are regular births, that we can see evolving in a recently refurbished park.
