Cheetahs – Cheetah Conservation Fund

ccf logos 01 28 19 2019 CCFLogo Color 2019 CCFLogo Color90% of cheetahs have disappeared in the last 100 years, there are less than 7500 left in Africa and 49 in Iran. The cause: poaching, trafficking, the destruction of their living spaces and conflicts with herders.

The Cheetah Conservation Fund is a world reference in its work for the protection and research of the cheetah. To achieve harmony between the animal and human worlds, it focuses on three main missions: preservation, education and research.

It has developed a Leopard Museum, a model and educational farm and a research centre with a genetic laboratory. They also take in young (or even very young) cheetahs from animal trafficking. Background work is also carried out with dogs: they are trained to detect droppings to locate cheetahs and trained as guard dogs. Thus, they help shepherds protect herds from predators, decreasing conflicts with cheetahs.

If you want to find out more about their many missions, go to their website , Facebook and Instagram !

We are happy to support their actions since 2022.
