Measuring less than two meters in length, this crocodile swims with power thanks to its morphology adapted to the aquatic environment. It catches its prey by surprise, capturing them mainly in the water, just as they come to drink.
Non-aggressive by nature, it is hunted for its meat, and also suffers from habitat loss. It could thus disappear quickly from some countries.
At the park, you can watch our couple in an outdoor pool in the summer, or in winter in the warmth of their building!
